FC Cincinnati Empowers Women in Sports for Women's History Month

"FC Cincinnati Celebrates Women's History Month with Empowering Initiatives and Collaborations"

In celebration of Women's History Month this March, FC Cincinnati is showcasing the invaluable contributions of women in the club and the sports industry. Partnering once again with Procter and Gamble’s Secret and Always brands, the club is organizing the "Breaking Barriers" event at TQL Stadium on March 19. This event will gather 150 female young professionals to gain insights into starting, growing, and sustaining careers in sports. A panel of local women in sports and sports media, including FCC employees and representatives from other area teams, will share their experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to network in breakout groups led by women professionals in sports.

During the match against New York City FC on March 23, FC Cincinnati will spotlight women at TQL Stadium. Attendees from Breaking Barriers are encouraged to purchase tickets and sit together for networking opportunities. They can also view warm-ups pitch-side for a closer look at FC Cincinnati. Fans in attendance can submit photos of important women in their lives for a chance to win an FC Cincinnati prize.

Additionally, FC Cincinnati is collaborating with NextUp, a national organization with a local presence in Cincinnati, to advance women in business. This aligns with the club's FCC University initiative, focusing on staff development throughout 2024 and beyond. Featured articles will highlight women-owned businesses in Cincinnati and showcase women leaders in FC Cincinnati Supporter Groups.

FC Cincinnati's efforts during Women’s History Month aim to support and empower current and future female leaders within the FCC family. U.S. Imposes 500+ Sanctions on Russia Following Navalny's Death

" U.S. Imposes Extensive Sanctions on Russia Following Navalny's Death "   The Biden administration has announced a sweeping set of over 500 new sanctions on Russia, responding to the recent death of dissident Alexei Navalny . The primary aim is to restrict the significant energy revenue that has been funding President Vladimir Putin's actions in Ukraine. These sanctions target Russian companies, individuals, and entities in other countries involved in supplying Russia's military and industrial sectors.   A crucial aspect of the sanctions involves tightening the existing Western " price cap " on Russian oil purchases, compelling buyers to acquire Russian oil at a discounted rate or face severe financial penalties. This move is designed to impact Russia's most substantial revenue source while avoiding a complete cutoff that could have repercussions on the global economy.   Despite previous stringent sanctions, Putin has not been deterre...
