Aircraft Incident Occurs in Londonderry Residential Area, Confirm Authorities

LONDONDERRY, N.H. —

In Londonderry, New Hampshire, a plane met with an unfortunate incident on Friday morning, as confirmed by authorities. The crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Colonial Drive, with the sole pilot on board at the time. The local fire chief informed News 9 that emergency responders successfully extricated the individual from the wreckage and subsequently transported them to the hospital. The severity of the injuries sustained remains undisclosed.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aircraft involved was Wiggins Air Flight 1046, specifically a Beechcraft 99. The flight had originated from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and was en route to Presque Isle, Maine. Unfortunately, the plane crashed in the wooded area situated behind the residences on Colonial Drive. Despite the proximity to homes, fortunately, there was no reported damage to any of the houses.

The incident raises concerns about aviation safety and the well-being of the pilot, prompting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash. The community, no doubt, is left to grapple with the aftermath of this unexpected event as authorities work to piece together the details of the incident.

U.S. Imposes 500+ Sanctions on Russia Following Navalny's Death

" U.S. Imposes Extensive Sanctions on Russia Following Navalny's Death "   The Biden administration has announced a sweeping set of over 500 new sanctions on Russia, responding to the recent death of dissident Alexei Navalny . The primary aim is to restrict the significant energy revenue that has been funding President Vladimir Putin's actions in Ukraine. These sanctions target Russian companies, individuals, and entities in other countries involved in supplying Russia's military and industrial sectors.   A crucial aspect of the sanctions involves tightening the existing Western " price cap " on Russian oil purchases, compelling buyers to acquire Russian oil at a discounted rate or face severe financial penalties. This move is designed to impact Russia's most substantial revenue source while avoiding a complete cutoff that could have repercussions on the global economy.   Despite previous stringent sanctions, Putin has not been deterre...
